House-Dog gives the alarm

One of the most serious outbreaks of fire in the Baildon district for a number of years occures at Crook Farm, on Tuesday morning, and resulted in damage to the extent of £300.

Crook's Farm, well-known as an old-established catering house, is occupied by a Mr. Denison, who has resided there for three years, is situate high up near to Baildon Moor, and is extremely difficult to access - a factor which caused great difficulty to the members of the Bradford Fire Brigade, who were summoned to the fire about 8:45 a.m.
